My boys (5 and 9) love this book as much as the others in the series. The story lines are silly and fun, the art is bright and exciting. I highly recommend for reluctant readers. I noticed other reviews stating that the illustrator was different, but my kids didn't care. It is a little different, but still very well drawn.
My son was disappointed to see that a new illustrator was used in book #4. The drawings are all different than the first three books.
My son is not crazy about reading, but he loves to keep these next to his bed for nightly reading!
My son is a PVZ nut... he likes these books so when I tell him to get off the XBox, he has something to do. Heaven forbid our children go outside.... *insert eye roll*
Bought this as a Christmas gift for my son, he won't put either of them down. He has a soft cover PvZ book and it's wearing out. I really appreciate the hardcover.
